Will Sendfable import my full campaign history?

No. Migration focuses on contacts (and tags you map). Rebuild important campaigns in the Sendfable builder — often faster than fighting a brittle history import.

Do I need to keep paying my old ESP during migration?

Keep it until your list is imported, a test send looks right, and DNS/sender setup is verified. Then cancel on your timeline — we do not cancel other accounts for you.

Can I bring a purchased list?

No. Purchased, rented, or scraped lists violate our terms and can get your account terminated. Clean, consented lists only.

Migrate to Sendfable

Moving ESPs is mostly a careful CSV export, a clean import, and re-checking authentication. Here is an honest path from common tools — no fake “one-click migrator” claims.

Import CSV opens the real importer. Sign in if you already have an account. New accounts start at Start free, then import from Contacts.

Migration checklist

Export contacts. Download a CSV of people who asked to hear from you. Keep the old account until a test send looks right.
Map CSV fields. Keep email, first name, and last name. Groups or tags can become SendFable tags when you import.
Preserve unsubscribe and suppression lists. Export unsubscribed, complained, and hard-bounced addresses separately. Do not import them as active contacts.
Import contacts. In SendFable, open Contacts and choose Import CSV. Map the columns, preview the rows, then confirm.
Verify a sender. Confirm the From address people already recognize before the first campaign.
Check SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. Authentication is on the domain. The deliverability page explains what those records do. SendFable does not guarantee the inbox.
Start carefully with the imported audience. Mail a small, recent slice first. Watch bounces and complaints before you write to the whole list.
Create and send the first campaign. Write one clear email, send a test to yourself, then send or schedule the real one.

Include tags or groups if you use them — map them to Sendfable tags on import.
