Migrate from Mailchimp to Sendfable
Leave complexity without losing the people who asked to hear from you. This guide is CSV-first and permission-first.
Step-by-step
Step 1
Export your Mailchimp audience
In Mailchimp, export the audience you have permission to email. Prefer a CSV that includes email, first name, last name, and subscription status when available.
Step 2
Clean before you import
Remove obvious typos, role accounts you should not mail, and anyone who already unsubscribed or complained. Purchased or scraped lists are not allowed on Sendfable.
Step 3
Import into Sendfable
Use Contacts → Import (or the migration center). Map columns, review valid/invalid/duplicate/suppressed counts, then commit. Existing suppressed addresses stay suppressed.
Step 4
Verify your sender
Add the From address customers recognize. Complete mailing address in settings — required for commercial email.
Step 5
Send a test, then a small campaign
Create a short email in Simple Mode, send a test to yourself, then send to a small segment first if the list is large or quiet.
